These photographic works and sculptures were developed by placing part of the process in hands of something else.

By allowing the photo editing program to decide how to merge, blend and fill certain areas that were chosen, some authority over the making process was handed over. Initial images were taken from an open source camera network, that shoots video images of spaces, sometimes unused, other times filled with moving bodies. These voyeuristic surveillance images were later on clouded over by my hand and the computers algorithm. In the same way a fired glaze clouds over the course, dry clay. An intentional action, but with less projection. This allowed for new images and spaces as backdrops.
